About us

I am Simon Damijan, born Slovene Damijan, your host at Villa Alps Adriatic. I will personally welcome you and take care of you during your stay.

What’s my story?

I’m certainly not a typical bed and breakfast owner. For most of my career I was a project manager as civil engineer.

I ran a variety of construction projects in Germany, Russia and Switzerland. 

I was always curious, trying to learn the ways of new and different countries, combining the interesting with the useful. That’s how I learned to speak several different languages.

Through all those years, I realized how very unique Slovenia is, with its diversity and beauty. It's Swiss like Alps and Greek like Adriatic Sea. It's both in only a one hour car drive.

One day I simply decided to do just the opposite from all of my traveling and invite the world to come visit me. I wanted to share the unique surroundings of a luxury villa with the ultimate privacy of a oasis-like garden.
